I was 35 years old when I got my first car, a Citroen 2CV camionette. With that car I drove through all of Europe and Morocco. It had incredible good mileage and when parking was difficult, as it was in Paris, you could drive the front end to the curb and lift the back end in place. It had front wheel drive and I took it on crazy roads into the mountains; it could go where others had to give up. Once a river had flooded the road and there were five feet walls of gravel on each side of the water and a long line of cars who had given up on crossing, but I just knew my 2CV could do it and I went right over the wall and through the water.

MY FIRST CAR
